Handicaps & Housekeeping

Wonder where you stand? Here is a simple reference chart of Jersey Girl Billiard Handicaps. We use several factors to determine your handicap, not just FargoRate. When you request a handicap from us, we request you send us any of your known league ranks, local tournament directors, your Fargo, and any other information that may allow us to accurately provide you with a fair and precise handicap.

  • Do you have an established Fargo Rate? We will need to know that to include in the data we use to determine the proper handicap for you as a player in our Split Bracket tournaments.

    APA? UIPL? USAPL? NAPA? We will want to see your numbers. If you want to reach out to us before registering for a tournament, please be prepared with your league info and Fargo Rate if you have one. In addition - the names of any tournament directors that would be willing and able to vouch for your level of play.

    Are you new to pool and just starting out playing tournaments, no problem - we encourage you to play!

  • Be mindful of your appearance when playing in our tournaments. Basically - No shirt, no shoes, no service. If you wonder whether it is okay, it probably isn’t. Feel free to reach out to us with questions.

  • We occasionally will photograph and/or video our events as well as live stream. We require our players to accept this waiver and you will be reminded of this when you register.

  • We operate with digital brackets and live scoring through Digital Pool. You will receive your table assignments and have 5 minutes to get to your table when notified. You will keep score on your phone or the tablet in real time. If you do not have a smart phone, please let us know when you arrive to tournament.
